PRIVACY POLICY

In this privacy policy I, Studio Leau, explain how I will process your personal data and what rights you have as a customer. Studio Leau attaches great importance to your trust and therefore also to the protection of your personal data.

You will therefore find below the privacy policy, which applies to the website and to the relationship between Studio Leau and you, as a (potential) customer.

WHO AM I?

Studio Leau, located in Haaltert, Belgium with company number 0775.982.578 and the controller of your personal data. You can contact me using the following details:

1. WHAT DATA IS INVOLVED?

When you contact me, for example via e-mail or via the contact form on the website, your data and the information you communicate to me are collected (digitally). It concerns the following data:

  • First name and surname;
  • E-mail address;
  • Address information;
  • Phone number;
  • Payment details;
  • Company data;

All data is maintained in an online CRM, Studio Ninja and in the online photo platform, Pic-Time. Data for administration also in the billing tool (Billit). Email addresses used to subscribe to the newsletter are stored in the email service provider (Flodesk). Through neither website nor service, Studio Leau does not intend to collect data from persons under 16 years of age without parental or guardian consent. However, it cannot control the age of website visitors so parents are advised to be involved in their children's online activities if they do not wish data about their children to be collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact us using the contact details above, whereupon the information will be deleted.

Studio Leau does not make decisions based on automated processing, i.e. without human intervention, on matters that could affect individuals.

2. CONDITIONS

Your personal data will be collected, processed and used in the following cases

  • subject to your explicit consent,
  • If necessary to provide a service requested by you,
  • if required by law,
  • if a legitimate interest justifies it.

3. FOR WHAT PURPOSE?

Your personal data are collected and processed so that Studio Leau can do the necessary for the services it offers and performs (e.g., drafting agreement, invoicing, communication, sending emails, contract management, customer analysis, sending the images & albums, the technical and administrative support itself).

4. DURING?

Your personal data is kept as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Your billing information will be kept for at least 7 years as required by law. Administrative data in general will be stored in Studio Ninja forever, unless you request its deletion. E-mail addresses provided through your own registration will be kept until you unsubscribe.

5. HOW WILL YOUR DATA BE SECURED?

Studio Leau is organized so that your data is optimally secured. This is done through the structures of Studio Ninja, Billit, Pic-time & Flodesk.

6. WILL YOUR DATA BE SHARED WITH THIRD PARTIES?

Your personal data will not be shared with third parties. However, if this is strictly necessary to be able to execute the assignment for the customer properly, this may be possible with the customer's consent. It is also possible that your personal data may be shared as a result of legal obligations. Your personal data will never be shared with third parties outside of this framework, such as for marketing or commercial purposes.

7. WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?

In accordance with applicable legal provisions, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data

  • right to withdraw your consent;
  • right to inspect and/or copy;
  • right to modification or rectification;
  • right to data sharing or the right to oblivion;
  • right to object;
  • right to portability.

You can exercise these rights simply or by contacting Studio Leau by e-mail. You will be contacted by return within 10 days. Exercising your rights is free of charge, except if your request is manifestly unfounded and/or excessive. In the latter case, administrative costs may be charged or it may be decided not to comply with your request after notification of the reason(s) for refusing your request.

8. COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint regarding the collection, use and/or processing of your personal data you can always contact me and you also have the option to:

  • Addressing you to the supervisory authority. The data protection authority is located at 1000 Brussels, Rue du Printing Press 35. 9. FINAL PROVISION

This statement is applicable as of 09/12/2022. Studio Leau reserves the right to change the privacy policy unilaterally. You can always find the most recent version of the privacy policy on the website. As of the publication on the website, possible changes will take effect. A new version of this statement that differs substantially from a previous version will be actively notified to you.

10. JURISDICTION CLAUSE

This statement shall be governed, interpreted and implemented in accordance with Belgian law. Belgian law shall apply exclusively in the event of any dispute. The courts of the jurisdiction of Dendermonde shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
